Registration of birth

Registration period: Within 14 days after the date of birth.
Recorder: Father, mother, lodger,doctor or maternity nurse present at birth.
Items required: Birth certificate, Maternity and Child Health Handbook, seal of the recorder.

Registration of death

Registration period: Within 7 days of the day the death was informed.
Recorder: A relative, lodger,landlord or landowner.
Items required: Death certificate, Certificate of Alien Registration of the deceased, seal of the recorder.

Registration of marriage

A marriage is officially recognized soon after a Marriage Registration is submitted to Public Service Division.
Recorder: Husband ,wife
Items required:
Seal or signature of both the husband and wife (One of these should be in the wife's maiden name),
passport
Cirtificate of legal capacity to contract a marriage(document to certify that there are no restrictions to the marriage.This document is issued by the embassy or consulate.If it is written in a foreign langage,a translation must accompany it at the time of submission,specifying the name of the translator.)

Registration of divorce

A divorce is officially recognized soon after a Divorce Registrarion is submitted to Public Service Division.
Recorder:Husband ,wife
Items required:
Seal or signature of both the husband and wife
passport
Cirtificate of Alien Registration.
